Say Hello to Charlotte!
As we've said countless times, PeakTwo is all about the transition to greater success. Developing the branding and positioning for a startup, revising the web presence of a company expanding its services, energizing market visibility for an established organization -- we love it. Well, after just about three years of determination and caffeine (shout out to new local favorite Dilworth Coffee as well as our Georgetown standby Baked and Wired), we're pleased to note that we practice what we preach. PeakTwo has successfully opened its second office in Charlotte, North Carolina. We have a great group of clients headquartered there, including AllThingsAtoZ.com, Focus Physical Therapy + Fitness (new site coming soon!), and Mercury Global Advisors, and they've given us welcome word-of-mouth endorsement. We've also started to build relationships with the uber-bright demand-gen gurus at Technekes. The long and short of it is that business in the Queen City is beginning to boom and we're feeling really good about having established a permanent presence.
Founder and fearless leader Mike Granetz, who trucks between DC and Charlotte with some consistency, has operations in shape. He's setting up plenty of face time with area clients and getting familiar with the local business community. FYI: nothing but good things to say about the boundless entrepreneurial energy of the BIG Council (props to Terry). Of course, he's already plenty familiar with the golf courses throughout Mecklenburg county.
Partners Joan Latta-Fernandez and Jay Ferrari are keeping things under control in DC, traveling to NC as needed, and building business throughout the NOVA/DC/MD area. Whether in DC or NC, PeakTwo clients can continue to count on getting our very best. We have you to thank for our growth, and we're looking forward to taking it to the next level.
Have questions? Or just want a "Welcome to Charlotte" postcard? Let us know.

The Season for Social
The holidays are upon us. This typically means festive outreach efforts. This year, however, instead of settling for sending out a few dozen snowflake cards or an ugly-sweater email, how about giving some real thought to your company's social media efforts? Typically, this is a time when things slow down, so use the slack to scrutinize your web presence, blog strategy, and social network participation. You can drive valuable outreach that builds your visibility and credibility, and still have plenty of time to spread holiday cheer.
Where to start? Maybe you have an executive blog that's been languishing for a few months. If the last post was back in August, think about delegating that online property to a team that can collaborate on more consistent content. With that in place, you can also energize your Twitter account; instead of having an intern chirp about leftover muffins in the breakroom, nominate someone to set up and manage an RSS feed reader (we like Google Reader and Feedly) that tracks relevant news feeds and blogs from your industry. They can watch it throughout the day, pushing out bite-sized summaries with links to worthwhile articles. Intersperse those with your own blog's increasingly frequent posts and suddenly you're building an audience.
Finally, take some time to give your website and identity a merciless tear down (we're in the process ourselves). It's the second decade of the 21st century. There's no excuse for hosting a boring brochure site when you could be building a content and resource-rich destination presence. As always, we're happy to talk about it in greater detail. The coffee, or the cocoa, is on us.

Client Spotlight
Among our major projects in the past few months has been the development and deployment of a potentially game-changing eCommerce presence: AllThingsAtoZ.com. The brainchild of our friends at Headline Capital Management and Mercury Investments, AllThingsAtoZ aims to become an online shopping portal offering enhanced customer service and ease-of-use absent with many eCommerce properties.
The ramp-up will be measured, but the goal is to provide an increasingly diverse online catalog composed of product-specific microstores. Bunk beds to safes, AtoZ is in compiling an increasingly deep variety of household and lifestyle items. Each store is supported by dedicated teams of industry experts designed to facilitate purchases, and find folks the best bang for their buck. In the weeks and months ahead, we'll be working with AtoZ to roll out more and more virtual storefronts. Check it out -- you might just knock out all your holiday shopping with a few mouse clicks.
