Senior Digital Project Director

This is a critical client-facing role, one that sits at the center of strategy, execution, and client success. You’ll be responsible for managing large, complex website projects from the ground up, keeping clients confident, teams aligned, and deliverables moving forward.

As the Senior Digital Project Director, you’ll act as the strategic linchpin across internal and external teams. You’ll shape project strategy, define clear goals and milestones, and guide our cross-functional teams toward successful outcomes—on time, on budget, and in alignment with client goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the strategic point of contact for key client relationships
  • Lead complex website projects from discovery through launch, with minimal oversight
  • Define project objectives, scopes, and timelines with input from key stakeholders
  • Manage all phases of project delivery, including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact timelines or deliverables
  • Track and report on project performance using internal tools and reporting systems
  • Facilitate clear communication between clients, creative teams, and developers
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Identify opportunities to expand client accounts through strategic recommendations
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and mentor junior team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a creative or marketing agency in a client-facing, project leadership role
  • Proven track record managing large website projects from concept to completion
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies, UX, SEO, and analytics
  • Confident leading cross-functional teams and driving clarity across complex initiatives
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing shifting priorities, and driving decisions
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at balancing long-term strategy with short-term execution

Tools & Technology You Should Know

  • WordPress CMS (especially ACF-based builds)
  • Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, and Search Console
  • Project management tools (such as Monday.com or Asana)
  • Familiarity with both Apple and Microsoft software suites

Location

This role requires a minimum of 2-days per week in our Fort Mill, SC offices.

Requirements

This role requires at least 5 years of experience managing complex website projects in an agency environment. Candidates without agency experience will not be considered.
