Granicus

More than 4,000 government agencies use Granicus digital solutions to modernize their communication and operations.

Client Brief

There are over 185 million citizens on the Granicus subscriber network and more than 5 million legislative files stored on their system. The company had also recently completed two major acquisitions, with no plan of slowing down.

At the same time, their website - while functionally sufficient - was quickly becoming outdated and losing ground in organic search to the competition. Peaktwo came in to design a modern, scalable web solution along with updated brand colors, introduce a new SEO strategy, and provide long-term website support.

Project Highlights

What made this project so cool? There were many - but here are few things we really enjoyed.

  • ADA & WCAG

As a website serving the Government market, it was best practice to create a website that met modern web accessibility requirements. The site was built to WCAG AA compliance.

  • International Pages

Granicus was growing quickly into international markets by expanding its services and acquiring companies. We added the international page capability within the same CMS platform along with menu flexibility to support different suites of solutions.

  • Content Migration & SEO

The company is rich with original content. It was critical that we created both a system for importing content and a migration plan to preserve the SEO value.

  • Marketo Integration

The website was integrated heavily with the Marketo CRM to allow for traditional contact pages as well as campaign-related landing pages for gated resources.
